I dont see a specific thread for 6.2 turbo instalation on our site so I will eventually put on together. Right now I am collecting pieces to put this together. Today the Brown Santa brought me the Boost and EGT guages. I allready grabbed a turbo and manifold nad just need to allocate an intake set up. I am going to get a Non EGR manifold but have not found one yet. I missed one on ebay for 46$ last week.:D

Well if you are willing to do some work, the EGR type intake or C code, will work if you take out the EGR canister and cut the center piece, and I think you will need to plug the hole too.
I sold my J code intakes and kept that one because I could do this and end up with a single plane, which for a turbo is fine, maybe even better.
And these are plentifull , everyone is taking them off and putting the J code, so they should be cheap.:D

I would do that but I need a top for it too so I want to just pick up the whole thing together. I am still looking.

Made headway today pulling the ac. It was nice. My daughter helped me out wrenching on the compressor while I worked on the other side removing the evap box.

I am going doing a full write up and pix when it is done. I was looking at the exhaust manifolds and they look tight in there. I cant wait to fire her up when she is done.

If you are going to rebuild that turbo note that the nut holding the impeller on is REVERSE thread. Real easy to snap the shaft and end up with a PITA:mad::mad:

the turbo I picked up is tight. I ran some oil into it and it spins free. I will see how it works once on.

Are you talking about the manifold or the pipe off the turbo?

I went out and looked at that. the good part of it is that it looks like can unbolt it and clock it. that would be cool rather then just aiming it downwards. Maybe I will fab up another piece for that too.

Mo Power RRRRRRrrrrRRRRRRrrrr

Sorry guys. Wifes having a surgery friday and I have to get to the junk yard and pick up more pieces. Maybe in a couple weeks. I will get over there.

Hope everything goes well for the wife so I won't point out the joke in your last post:o

If you need a J code intake and top, lid, or otherwise known as the Upper Intake Manifold PM me.
