Hey some of you diesel experts, my cruze is sluggish and my ac will not go on max so i figure my vac pump is weak. Are they all the same or is 6.2 and 6.5 different? or is it turbo and na that makes the difference?

is GM 7841746 AC D 215-104 sound like the correct number? the ac delco site sucks worse (or better:whistle:) than my pump so I can't tell from it.

Thanks guys:thumb:

Any parts store should have them. No idea about the differences if there are any.

yea i see them on ebay etc but diferent part numbers and prices from 66.00 to 154.00 and everywhere in between. just hoping someone had done the swap.

You didn't say what truck you have.

Keep in mind that there are different pumps whether you have a serpentine belt or not.
The newer ones with serpentine belts uses a belt driven one.
The older 6.2s with v-belts used a cam driven pump at the rear of the block.

But I think there could be other differences as well.
Check out rockauto.com and if you haven't already, and type in make and year of your truck and see what pops up.

They list vacuum pumps under the "Brake/Wheel Hub" section btw:screwy:
