the 6.2 manifold to downpipe bolt pattern (3 bolts) is just a HAIR smaller than the 6.5 manifold to downpipe pattern. the passenger outlet is in the same place, but the drivers outlet is further forward, and more vertical on the 6.2 manifolds.

little lessons I learned tonight fitting a 6.5 crossover pipe onto my 6.2, hacked up to be the start of a ypipe.

Finished the exhaust up. Turns out a glasspack sounds pretty reasonable on these motors. At idle all you hear is diesel idle noise, but above about 10% throttle, it sounds pretty raunchy!

Damn, I can't even hear my Cherry Bombs unless I sorta listen to the harmonics of it.

For some reason lately I've been working without my camera at my side. I suppose I can take pics of it, but it's just going to look like a 2.5" y-pipe into single 3" on the drivers side. my y-pipe contraption also ended up being about 1.5" too low for my tastes, so I used a foot of flex pipe to bump the whole thing up so the muffler is above the frame rail. My local parts store didn't have offsets in either 2.5 or 3"
