6.2 vs 6.5

Is there an advantage to going with either over the other? There is the obvious differences in the displacement, but if you were starting from scratch, which would you choose...why?

6.2L will be cheaper than 6.5L, plus may be able to squeeze more fuel mileage out of the 6.2L.

6.5L will have more power. The 6.5L TD will have the most power, but the factory 6.5L turbo setup will not fit into an '81-87 body style truck without modifications to the a/c evaporator box on the firewall. If you don't have a/c, then no problem.

I would go with the 6.5L if you can afford it.
