Spare me your flaming. It's awesome and cool. Doesn't matter the vehicle.

Louvers and some tie down points are next, Then all the finish welding, grinding, etc.

Looks sweet. I did something simmilar on a duramax with a tool box sandwitching the rack down. I had some small gussets welded in were the down tubes came down. At high speeds it wobbled a bit but i had a fullsize lightbar as well. In hind sight a easy fix i think would have been a bar running down from cross bar in middle pressed up against front bed side to act as a lever and keep it from rocking back. Didnt wobble much and i did have a full sized light bar. Id at least do some gussets since the box cant go all the way forward anyway. Also are you going to close the tops of the tubing that points up? Be a rain catcher

Very nice i like it. How much in materials do you figure it cost to make and what size of tubing is that?

About $100

3" angle iron for bed rails
2" square tubing for the frame
And 2" flat steel for the louvers.
The sheet metal for the lights was scrap. Just 1/8" stuff we had laying around.

I want to build one for my dodge when I lift it, I've always liked head ache racks, looks good

Seems like the auxiliary reverse lights are nice also

Everything is nice! Lol.
Grote 43222 mounting plates. No rubber.
And grote lights.

I like their stuff. I have the led retina burning tail lights on the blazer. They get rid of tailgaters real quick

How far away is the tool box from the rack, looks like a weathergaurd like my box

The grote stuff looks nice
