6.5 hummer motor in K truck

Has anybody put a mid mount turbo 6.5 in their truck. I didn't get the cummins I was wanting to get, but I have a lead on a 6.5 from a hummer.

I don't know why it wouldn't work.
If I had a choice I would go with that one.

aren't "truck 6.5" turbos on the side of the motor? This one is mounted similar to the power strokes.

If its from a military hummer it more than likely doesnt have a turbo but the civilian ones do.

I haven't actually done it, but it seems to me if it'll fit under to hood of a humvee, it should clear a truck hood no problem.

I don't think there's enough room on a pickup for the exhaust inlet pipes and the turbo downpipes. The engine is too close to the firewall for the Hummer-style center mounted turbo to clear.

It would be perfect for a van, though.
