I'm considering swapping to a diesel, a turbo'd 6.5, from the current 5.7 gasser. Biggest reason, I just prefer diesel's, mileage, fuel cost is cheaper for me. What, if any, of my accessories will bolt to the new block? Are the mounts for the alternator and a/c, etc, the same? If i'm not buying a whole vehicle and just an engine, how can I tell a mechanical version from an electric version I/P? Or is it obvious? I've has a 6.2 before, just haven't seen a 6.5 turbo version recently to compare.

The accessories may be the same as the same year 5.7L, but the brackets are different. You are better off buying the motor complete with all accessories to be safe. The mechanical injector pump only has a couple of connections on it for wiring (technically only one connection is required to turn it on).

The mechanical 6.5's are only 93 and I think 94. The pumps look just like the 6.2's. I would try to get a complete engine with accessories. PM me if you ever have any questions. I'm putting a 93 6.5 in my 70 k10.
