switching a 6.5 to old block 350!!!!HELP???

A friend has a 94 2500 6.5 turbo to a carbed 350,the truck has hydro boost brakes and he is having problems with the accesory brackets to run serp setup and found a metal set,and alum set which set is the correct set for the hydro brake?Any help would be grateful!

i switched my c30 from a 6.2 diesel to older block 350 and just last week put a serpentine belt system from a early 90's 350 on it. truck has hydro boost too... my bracket is the metal one not the aluminum one. i had to get a water pump, alternator and a p/s pump from the early 90's 350. all i did was put a T fitting in the return line of the p/s to split off to the hydro boost. evreything works like a charm. i did have to re-run my fuel line around the brackets and get creative to make the upper radiator hose work because i am still using the 6.2 diesel radiator which is wider the a gasser one.

go aluminum more popular .

and pump will bolt up to both styles and even v belts. just got to pull the pulley off first.

and to remove the driverside aluminum bracket you need to pull the p/s pump anyways for the hidden bolt to side of block. :thumb:

ya i thought i could use the original p/s pump but i ended up having to get a power steering pump for a newer 350 cause the reservoir was clocked different and the original would hit my steel bracket, it might be a different story with the aluminum bracket tho
