6.5 turbo, NV4500, not sure what the t-case would be, but all of this is in a 3/4 4x4 94 chevy, has 187k in great running condition.
Is all of this worth $4,500.
I was looking into a 6.2 for now, then later put the 6.5 heads, turbo, new injectors, new pump on the 6.2, it seems that these upgrades are like Around $2,500 or more at least.
But I can get this whole truck for $4,500, is it worth it??
Then later on, put the drive train in my Landcruiser, with my dana 60,70.
And what T-case would this truck have behind the 6.5 turbo??
Thanks,
Scott

$4500 is a fair price for a whole truck w/diesel w/187k.
It should have an NP241 behind it. 1 tons got a Borg Warner case, 3/4tons (like my '97 w/6.5 & NV4500) got the NP241.

If they are asking $4500 I'd start off offering $3200... $3500... try to get it for under $4000.

I can get this truck now for $3800, I`m trying to get it for $3,500.
It is Drivers drop T-case, so is it a NP241?
And I was wondering if my short shaft kit out of my 91 k5 with the 241, would work in this t-case, Anybody know?

I was also wondering what diff gears are in this, I put it in 4low, and it seemed to be as low as my friends nv4500 with a 3.8 atlas, it was insane low.
Plus it spun the tires on the street with no problems at all.

The NP241 is the same, except for the drop. Remember that the 94 is completely controlled by computer. It has the electronic injection pump. The 94 GM NV4500 is one of the sought after really low first gear tranies.
