6.5 turbo.

the turbo in my 94 6.5 litre is making a horible grinding sound. its got 120,000 on the clock. i was wondering if its time fora new one, can they be rebuilt, or does it have somethign to do with oiling? sounds liek the blades are hitting something. any haelp is good help. thanks.

Pull the intake side and look at the fins (with the engine off, lol) Grab the shaft and move it around, if there's a lot of play, it's the turbo. They can be rebuilt, depending how bad it is. You'll have to see by pulling the intake side off.
