6 inch lift need shims?

hi, i have a 1980 gmc, 6 inch superlift spring in front, D60 stock location, 350 trans w 205 transfercase. do i need shims in front? im not sure how my driveshaft look yet, but i dont want to run shims, so am wondering from experiences, do anyone use shims on 6 inch lift w same setup as me? thanks in advance.

I didn't install the lift, but my V3500 has 6" Superlift springs and has some small (2-3 degree) shims under the springs. Probably came with the springs.

I wouldn't shim the front. It will change your caster and probably isn't necessary.
