6\" lift questions

hey guys, i started putting on my lift today and relized how far the drive line was extending. was is a exceptible length for it to be pulled out? also when pivoting my tranny what is the best possible way of doing that? i thought of putting spacers between the crossover brace and the frame but i'm not sure if this is how it's done. the distance i'm speaking of is out of the transfer case, currently it looks to be about 4". is this o.k? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Re: 6\" lift questions

Sounds like it might be too much. I think I would drop the transfer case down and then look at it again.

You are correct. Put spacers between the frame and the crosspiece.

You still might have to get your driveline extended. Every vehicle is different.

AJ, is any of this still relavent? It must have worked OK since you were in Moab with it. I don't know what happened to this post, it's kind of old and this is the first I've seen of it.
Sorry

Well since he broke his transfer case off the back of his tranny I think this is the least of his problems... /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
