spotted an XJ thru the fence at the local pick a part the other day...so this morning I looked over the Jimmy to see what needed to fit where prior to my parts hunt. I looked over at the glovebox latch that had dismantled itself about 6 months ago and figured I could get that latch also. So I did a quick search to see how to take it apart cause I had just never got around to messing with it. Anyways...took all of 15 minutes to fix the one I had and it works like new....small victory, for sure, but since I am just now getting around a little after having leg surgery, I'll take what I can get.
The XJ had already been stripped of its steering shaft, so I just waddled around for an hour or so looking for anything else I could possibly need. Really slim pickings and not much early stuff at all. Oh well....at least I'm back able to get out and walk around some.
