6 or 10 ply swampers?

I am thinking about ordering some new TSL Bias tires.

I want 39.5 in 16.5 and it looks like there are 2 exactly the same size.

15/39.5-16.5LT Sam-71 or Sam-35 The difference is 10 or 6 ply. I have 6 ply tires now on my K30 is there a reason to get the 10 plys if I don't ever tow with it anymore? Any other reason? The price difference is about $100 each.

If you're not hauling much weight I'd go 6 ply. The 10's will take longer to warm up and be more prone to flat-spotting when it sits. I've got 6 ply of the same size with 15 inch rims on my blazer and they ride great.

It is becoming lighter by the day between mods and the body just falling off. I may pull a trailer around the yard but is is mostly to tall to be any good other than an offroad fence repairer.

swampers are pretty stout as it is. i would say 6 ply would be sufficient since you said you wont be towing but maybe a few times.

def 6 plys...bias have the plies all the way to the bead, so there is a consistent 6 plies all the way through. not sure how tough it would be to get the 10's to flex good.

you can find the 39.5-15-16.5's in the load range C????

If new, a price of 350 ea. I would go for all day long. myabe closer to 400 though.
