I have a '79 1/2 ton chevy truck and one off my leaf springs is all broken and coming apart, it has 6" blocks so I would like to eliminate the blocks when I change springs. I will almost take any brand, the cheaper the better. let me know what you have. I am located in Sikeston MO. Thanks. Dustin

for best ride i wold do a combo of flip kit then spring to make up diffrence. or stock springs and block with flip kit.

I'm in oregon but I have a set with about 1,000 miles on them, I'll sell them for $125 plus shipping.

yeah I thought about a combination of different springs and flip kit or maybe a smaller block and flip kit, but just dont want to mess with all that, its just a beater work truck, so Im trying to get away cheap as possible, thats why Im looking for used springs.

55willy- Im interested. A couple questions though, what brand? did the truck sit level in the rear from pass. to driver side, also could you get a shipping quote for me to Sikeston MO 63801? Ive heard you could just wrap em with tape and send em that way. also will they come with bushings?

they are either skyjacker or superlift, I'll double check tonight.

yes they have bushings in them, and the rig sat dead level. it was on a frame off 72 restore job, he ended up going higher with it. I'll check the weight tonight and get ya a shipping quote. the last 2 sets I have sold have been about $40, I just use that shrink wrap stuff and tape.

$40 sounds good to me, just one more thing though, do the '72 model trucks use the same springs as the newer 73-87 model. just need to make sure.

Dustin

yes rear springs are the same for all 1/2 tons just the fronts were different.
