6\" TC EZ-Ride lift

I was looking on your site and saw the 6" TC EZ-Ride front kit for $225, what exactly is in that kit(Shocks, ect..)? Should I go with HD springs on an 88 Burb or the EZ-Rides?

Re: 6\" TC EZ-Ride lift

The front kit is basically just springs and ubolts. It ends up being a smoking deal on ubolts, that's about it.
TCI only has one 6" front spring. They had to go a bit stiffer on it to keep the ride height, so it's the equilvalent of the HD springs. Ride's still not bad though, the rate's about 315 lb/in so they aren't too stiff. They should work pretty well for you.
Thanks

Re: 6\" TC EZ-Ride lift

The TC 6" springs sound like what I want. So my next question is for you to price me out what I need to get the Burb lowered down to reality.
>6" TC EZ-Ride front springs
>spring bushings
>upper front shackle bushings
>Front U-bolts for 3/4 ton 10 bolt
>Front shim for 6" lift ????
>4 front shocks for 6" kits(may go with 2)
>2 rear shocks for 6" kits
>U-bolts for a 14 bolt FF w/o blocks(8" Superlift springs)
I think that will do it !!

Re: 6\" TC EZ-Ride lift

Basically, you need the 6" front kit, probably a set of the HD front shackles, and some rear ubolts.
You're looking at $225, $85, and $30, respectively.

I hate to say this, but for the shocks, I'd recommend measuring them when you're done and we can see about matching them up. We've found some 6" recommeded shocks to be too short.
Thanks

Re: 6\" TC EZ-Ride lift

If the front kit has the springs, bushings, U-bolts for 3/4t 10 bolt, sway bar drop, and upper shackle bushings, I'll take one of them with a rear set of U-bolts that will fit my 14 bolt FF with 8" Superlift 6 spring pack. I may do the Rancho 9012's with the ford mount for shocks in the front and then do the rear like Fox's K5 too. I'll give you a call on payday hopefully.
