who has the cheapest 35 spline dana 60 shafts? im looking for stock NON neckdown shafts and cromoly 4340 35 spline stub shafts.

I am running Yukon chromo inner and outer 35 splines. I tried to use the stock 35 spline inner with the Yukon Chromo 35 spline outer to keep from buying the outer twice. It does NOT work... the ears are so much thicker on the chromo shaft that they will not articulate into the corresponding pocket on the stock shaft. So your steering is severely compromised. I would buy all chromoly and Drive flanges if you dont drive on the street all the time.

I got my Inner shafts from Buddy at foothills offroad

My outers came from Jims Offroad

I originally got the warn premium 35 spline outers, but broke them. 4wheel parts was nice enough to swap them out for some warn drive flanges.

I am also just running the Spicer Life series Joints. I had ordered the solid ones, but the greasable ones showed up and I didnt want to wait. I have wheeled the piss out of it, breaking transfer cases, hubs ect and the joints are still holding up.

i have heard may people running stock inner shafts. yea i am torn between flanges and hubs. its not offroad only but its not my dd by any means

It might just be the Yukons, they have really thick ears. I just know that when I put mine togeather they would bind well short of what my steering angle is. Call Buddy at foothills and price a full set, you might be pretty suprised at the price. Here is what the chromo Yukon stub shaft looks like.

I currently have Spicer non-neckdown inners (~$70 each) and Alloy USA 4340 outers (~$117 each).

I feel that Alloy USA has a better reputation than Yukon and the Alloy USA's were $7 more per shaft.

I got my inners from DTI (pretty far from you) and my outers from porc.

Good luck getting stubs, I have been waiting since Dec. 10th for my ALLOYUSA D60 35 spline cromo's to show up. I ordered them from a good vendor on Pirate4x4 and still nothing. It took about a month for the inners to show up.

You just ruined my night. Guess what parts I have sitting 10 feet from me right now. I know I can't get any other brand for anywhere nearwhat I paid for these. And yes I'm running spicer inners and spicer U joints.
Oh well thanks for the caution. I'll have a look before I return them.
