6100 series bilstein\'s which one to get

okay i'm fix'n to order some shocks and i'm not sure which one's to get, the 6100 12" (extended31.10" collapsed 19.37") or the 14" (extended 35.59" collapsed 20.75"). they'er going in my 74 with 4" lift, 1" addaleafs, ferd shock towers and the MOO extended rear shock mounts. i know the 12" would be fine but i'm not to sure if the 14" shocks would be to long. note: the lift is not yet installed so i can just go and measure it /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

i'd go with the second ones, the 14"

Well don't quote me on this /forums/images/icons/wink.gif , but I have seen K5's with 4'' lift and rancho 9012's (13 1/4'' travel) on the rear when mounted inwards, so... the 14'' travel shocks SHOULD fit with your 5'' lift but you may have to angle them pretty far in.
