638hp sleeper Tahoe

Kinda cool...but seriously weak burnouts. I think someone spent a ton of cash to make a much slower Corvette.

I tend to agree. One of those rich guy keep your hands clean and write checks kind of builds.

All that money spent on the swap, and too cheap to buy real caltracs or slide a links...

I dont understand how anyone can justify making caltracs themself. I made mine myself and the only reason it was even relatively worth it was because 1) plasma table and 2) I basically got my heims, bungs, and tube for nothing because it was extra stuff from a customers car. Factor in my time and buying caltracs is actually cheaper...

That being said more on the topic of the that tahoe. I can't understand some peoples train of thought with stuff. A stock 4l80e would have held that all day long. Billet input shafts and shit lol.

Plus the whole crate motor or take out package phenomenon makes me chuckle. Could have rebuilt a 5.3 or 6.0 with gen 4 rods and forged pistons for ball park $1600, throw an LSA take off or S366 on it and made the same or more power for literally ballpark $5000...

"front and rear axles are 3.73"
?
AWD?
That's pretty cool if it can stand up to the power.

Based on the description I think all this was done at a dealership, and based on the video traction control was retained, and turned up to "kill". There is no way a supercharged LS with nearly 650 hp should be that weak in the burnout department...

My dead stock and pretty boring 2017 GMC with the 5.3 does better burnouts than that with the traction control on.

Yeah pretty sure if I did a blower or turbo and some tuning my wife's AWD Yukon xl denali with a 6.2L would be just as cool or better. Definitely a guy with too much money and not enough brains for a project like this to just drop it off at a dealership and have them do it.

The notion of having a dealer do anything thats not in the GM service software to guide them step by step scares the shit out of me lol. Good mechanics at dealerships are few and far between. And most of them are knocking out repeat jobs like trans' or warranty engine work in 1/2 the book time and logging 80 hours a week not doing work like that. I mean you're talking about a format where the person working on your car literally doesn't have to do any leg work to figure anything out. They actually have a person being paid that drives the car and tells the "mechanic" what to change...

Ok my rant about dealerships is over lol

^^^^^^All that work and money put into it, and it still can't tow very well...............

i mean, if it turns you on then fine. Rich guys can take the section 179 tax deduction...........

If i were going to get someone to do a glider kit suburban, then i would sooner get something like this:
