Ok so I searched last night for hours trying to find the answer to this question. I want to run 64 and 56" springs on my 90 burb. I want to have about 6 inches of lift. Will stock 64 and 56" springs get me that high or do I need to look for lift springs? How much lift if I need lift springs. Thanks

56's in the front will get you 4" or so. You can use a zero rate to get to 5" or you can buy 2" lift 56's to get 6". With 56's you'll be in for crossover steering for sure.

The 64's in the rear don't give any lift. Most people who run 64's use a 4" shackle flip and get 4" of lift that way. IMO the ideal, for a 6" lift, is 2" lift 64's and a 4" shackle flip. 64's tend to have axle wrap issues too, make sure that it's what you really want.

Yeah I know less is better. I'm trying to figure out a good mix cuz the 2 inch lift springs are gonna be hard to find. I read that doing a body lift will prolly be required for the t case swap so I dunno still how much lol. Need to do more reading I suppose, maybe a 4 inch lift and 2 inch body lift will be good.

read mnstrburbon's build thread. he did a lift with those springs I believe. Good stuff
