so i got a DIY4x shackle flip from Kert and im going to run 64's out back. i did it on my 73 with no problem but when i went to move my front (rear) hangers forward the body mounts are in the way which they weren't on my 73... anyone done it? its not my 1st choice but i could fab up a body mount that would be out of the way. i can take some pics if needed.

I did it but mine is in a Burb so body mount not an issue, think you will have to make a new body mount though.

leave the body mount. i had the spring hanger straddle the body mount if that makes sense. I might be able to dig up a pic if you need.

i was thinking of tryin it. hopefully it will fit right and yea i know whatcha mean. a pic would be great but i dont need it. did you just move the back holes to the front and drill new fronts? or did you move it to fit?

I centered the axle in the wheel wells, then welded the brackets were they needed to be. This was all when i had the k5 tub, now its a truck cab on the same frame so i dont have that body mount anymore.

You move the mount so that the front holes are the back and make new holes for the front. You can change the angle of it also to get it around the mount, you can even raise or lower it which would raise or lower the amount of lift.
