I figured $600 for the truck, Scrap the truck, Keep the motor.
You'd be in the motor for ~$400.
Turbo's are everywhere...

yeah you can get an hx35 for 200 bucks. Both my buddies run them in their cars.
Plus probably a couple hundred worth of scrap steel there....

Well first it will cost you $200 to go get it from Fallon, NV.
The you need to take it appart and there isn't much left in it, the seats I can't see, but that is the only thing left other than the engine and the rear end, and the engine is missing the turbo.
Now if Chris is right and the turbo can be had for $200, it's better than the $600 that I was guessing since mine will cost me $600.
Still not a great deal.
I see them complete and running but with bad bidy for $2000 or under, that will get you tranny turbo intercooler, and anything you need with the engine, well worth the extra money you'd pay.
Now if you had everything and you just need the engine and you live in Reno or Fernley, NV then yes it's worth it.

That is a great deal. $250 for a turbo and you've got a P pump motor for $850. I thought I scored big with my VE pumped 5.9 for $900, complete.

Speaking of hows she working out for you. It seems like 6.9 and 7.3 Furd low mileage trucks are damn near free around us.

She's a good Beast.... I haven't towed the K5, but she has hauled some junk.
I honestly thought I'd have a Trailer by now,
but a bunch of in-law BS came up, and money started being tighter.
I'm considering selling it.
The only reason I haven't yet,
is I don't wanna kick myself for selling a Low Mileage Diesel, that I just built up.
