Quick question, will it fit my '71? I know anything can be made to fit...... but just a hood change? just pondering........again....:dunno:

Don't think so.

Everything I've read indicates that it requires fenders, core support and grille too.

You can reverse-engineer a lot of things like this by checking the LMC catalogs. If the core support doesn't fit '67-'72 (for example) you can be sure that there are a differences that matter..... Same for fenders, etc.

Obviously you can cut and modify a hood to replicate the laid-back "look" of the '67-'68 version.... It all depends on your stubbornness and skill.

I thought someone around here said there was even a difference in the later hoods too. I have a '72 blazer but I grabbed the hood off of a '70 or '71. Didn't notice until after I'd painted it but it is about an inch taller in the middle than my cowl. It's almost like the hood was bent somehow but it fits fine everywhere else. /shrug.

Thanks!:waytogo:
I've seen a few with '67 '68 complete front ends......guess it's a full swap/
whole front clip or Frankenstein. OK good enough.
