I was sitting here, CK5ing it up, and started wondering if we had an official 67-72 only picture thread, so, if we dont, post em up! i will start it off with my 71 K5...

Here's my two. Both in the project stage yet. I've been working on the purple 70 mud truck and the motor is at the machine shop so i'll have more pics shortly. The other is my red 67 shortbed 4x4. I added a 6" lift and removed the flatbed last fall. But it got put a side so i can finish the purple one.

Ok, Here is my 72K5, I have had this sence 1993 and I have hardly ever stopped building it, my wife has been giving me sheeat abot it the WOLE time too:haha: :doah:

Thias is probly 2001-2002 timeframe..you can barly see the red geery can on the back gate I use to have...of all places Kayline softtop company made that rear gate with two geery can baskets...only a bald 33 tire was the biggest that would fit inbetween the baskets and the gate was attached to both body and frame so not so good for twisty trails so I made my own...

Now it is getting 1Ton axels, after this build the only thing left will be to update my cage to a 8pt or 10pt and incorprate the seats into it too...THEN MAYBE I will be done! hahaha ya right...14yrs and I'm STILL not done! hahahaa:doah: :haha:

its got a stout 327 in it, turbo 400, i gave him a detroit for christmas, he said it went in like candy. should be damn near perfect when he gets it done.

Here's mine - '72 CST K5 8" front Skyjacker springs, rear is 4" blocks & ORD shackle flip. 10 bolt front/14 bolt rear with Detroit & 4.56s. 350, T350, NP205, Hi-Angle drivelines, NW metal products fuel tank, SpyderCustoms cross over steering - tie rod & drag link sleeved in polished stainless. Powdercoated differentials, currently body is off of frame - I'm planning on powdercoating the frame. Primarily because I'm a moron!

Here's a few of mine. 70 Jimmy 3/4 ton 10 bolt front welded, crossover, hydro assist steering, 14 bolt rear with detroit, 4 wheel disc, Hartley Truck and Tubing cage, sliders, bumpers, DIY tire carrier, Twin sticked 205, getting 350 TBI as I type, 350 Turbo trans, 6 inch tuff country springs front and rear, ORD super shackles and shackle flip. Speedlined inside and out....

never too "Fugly". I am a techer, i dunno about you people, but all i see is potential and beauty. Hell, i would daily drive that!
