67-72 pickup tailgate

Looking for a tailgate for my '69 C/10. I have one, but this is a 45 year old truck that spent most of its life in rural west GA. As you might guess its rough, even though it's been repaired enough to look good going down the road. Red would be a plus, but not a requirement. Needs to be straight and rust free with the embossed "CHEVROLET" lettering.

Nice, let me know if you could find an OE one. The aftermarket gates are very thin

Will do. I just had KTM parcel service deliver one in a big white truck that was scored for 25 bucks, but it was GMC.

That's what I've heard as well. And even though it's a good looking truck I use it like a truck should be used. A light weight gate would be a disaster on this thing.
