 Man....You put a few 1st gen items for sale on there and within seconds crap is selling left and right.

Not complaining, just didnt expect interest to be so high. Should raised the prices:whistle: ha ha.

Yeah, after having no luck selling stuff on here and some local 4x4 forums i decided to pay my dues there to see if it would work. And man did it ever.

I just became a paid member there the other day. I had some stainless strips for the hard top, same thing they were snatched right up, should have bumped the price up higher:doah:

Whats your name over there?

Its a different crowd over there. They get all excited about NOS parts and high quality repops. If you try to sell a bunch of 4x4 gear, you won't see the same interest over there. ;)

Different crowd for sure, gotta be careful of the thin skin as well. Its not like over here:haha:

scottishdave is my name there also.

Does not seem like as friendly of a place just to BS around. They seem more down to buisness, but thats cool too. Deff alot of nice trucks over there though.

I've bought a few things over there. Good people so far. Have some stuff piling up so will prob buy a membership so I can sell.

Good people, but def a little different than your ck5'er.

glad you got the stuff sold. That's actually where I found my blazer. Bought it from a guy up in Michigan when we still lived in Ohio. Definitely a different atmosphere over there. Plenty of nice guys and good stuff, just gotta tread a bit lighter:whistle:

I should have tried to sell my 70 3/4 ton there. I let it go for WAY to low a price. It was a clean truck damnit. WIsh I still had it. :doah:

Yeah, I think it is an older crowd there, they are real touchy and seem to have little tolerance for joking around. I made a joke about a a brother being impatient waiting for a guy parting out a truck and he jumped all over me. I was like "chill out, bruh, it's just a joke".

I think i spoke too soon. Had TONS of interest at first, but once shipping costs were found out for most of the items a bunch fell through.

Bummer bout the sale.
Seems many people on line either are looking for cheap cheap or the right stuff and will pay good value.

I know a few guys who sell over there. I enjoy the site and learn a lot there also.... like when I get to my 68 crew cab ill prob post the build there....
But I never have time and like to dream

67-72 board definitely is a lot more focused on restorations than some of the "modded" stuff that we do here...

It seems to be a lot more about "preservation" over there, so if you try to talk to them about cutting fenders for tire clearance or (gasp!) dovetailing the fenders....it's very likely that their heads will explode! :D

There are definitely some knowledgeable and good fellas over there, but you just have to remember your audience and realize that they just have a different point of view about these trucks.
