The 1300 mile/27hr road trip to VA produced another project for me to dig into.
Brought home a 67 panel w/72 front clip.
Pretty good shape, looks fairly solid.
2wd, 350/350

This will become my work truck.
I'm currently using the white burb in the pic but she's way tired.
I'll swap over the panel body to the 3/4 ton 4x4 burb chassis.

Anyway, thought I'd share. ;)

[No, that's not my Dodge]

Unfortunately the burb is done. :frown1: It's lived it's life and will be parted out to other old chevy trucks so that they will go on.
It was way tired when I got it but I managed to get another 3000 miles out of it since last winter.
I'll be using the best parts of the two to build one good dependable 3/4 ton 4x4 panel truck. :)

That 'Burb is also donating it's rust-free spare tire well sheetmetal to a deserving home........

:D

Good Old Trucks

Filled the fluids, threw in a battery and drove it under it's own power off the trailer
Okay, not exactly that simple but almost.
Parked it out back for now but it's the very next project that gets into the shop. :cool1:

youre gonna part that red and white body ??! :eek1:
i had a 68 panel delivery 2wd once, i know of a couple others, another 68 2wd one and another 68 one thats 4x4, but not local, and theres a 69 or 70 in a town near here i cant find it now

the only first gen burb i know of around here is a 71 C-20 one, its got 350 and tilt and 4.57 posi and th400 and is ochre and white two tone and a beater but they have been putting new panels and such on it i noticed, it went for 900 bucks not running and a fender was munched on one side

so i passed, plus it was in a towing yard and title had to be rebuilt

K5 and burbs and panels are like rare as hell now,

oh and there used to be a a copuple 68 burbs running around one was an ambulance i dunno where they went, gone now,

afraid to know,..

good luck with yours

Sure, I'm gonna part it from the 2wd chassis and put it on the 3/4 ton 4x4 burb chassis.

This will become my work truck. (elec. contractor)
It'll get the full body treatment w/new paint, new interior as well as my old school-ish logo put on it but otherwise will look pretty much stock, maybe a set of rally's but otherwise pretty stock.

vtblazer,
you should just trade me My extra blazer for that burb its tub needs a lot of work but its a 4x4 and would be great to put that pannel on.
