68 Suburban on a 79 4X4 Chassis??

Hope this is in the right place for this thread.

But thought i would ask anyway.

Has anyone put a 67-72 suburban body on a 73 and up 4x4 longbed chassis?

I have read somewhere about it, but it was very long ago.

If this is a go and i get convinced i will post pics as i go.

My wifes car is almost done and thinking of next project.

well....i hope it does cause i want to see you do it. cool stuff build threads. the wheel base is longer on the longbed though i'm pretty sure, i'd like to know too. but anything will fit anything if you want it to anyway.

well, with the condition of the burban rear quarter i wont mind making room for some tires or adressing wheelbase issues.

I have an idea of bobing (cutting the whole back end off) the suburban and adding truck bed sides, kind of like an Avalanche.........sorta

Not wanting to make it a show queen, just somthing to play with and not worry about a scrach ot a tree running into it.
