I'm rocking a rollpan on the rear of my blazer, I'd like to find a Receiver Hitch that would fit this application.

So there are several Reese like hitches around that will work. Has anyone adapted a late model truck or blazer hitch and gotten it to work? Ideally I'd like to put my license plate on a hinge and hide the hitch behind it.
Everything I'd found is close to 300 bucks, should I expect to pay that much for a hitch? Seems steep in my book.

If you have access to a cutoff wheel and a welder it can be done in an afternoon, I did it.
