Not every day that folks are removing windows from hard tops - who has a window hook kit they can swear by that works for one person in order to pop these babies out? I'm checking out a few sets and not sure how many hook tools I'll need in order to get this done. I'm stripping my top down and replacing the rubber, but I prefer to remove it properly and not cut out the rubber. I'm in process of restoring a top (fiberglass repair and paint) and may go with a "smooth" look. Anyone have any caution in doing that? It's a double wall top and has some sagging in the top side, so that's getting a fix as well.

If you're replacing the rubber window seals, why worry about preserving them when removing the windows?

X2, it’s really hard to do without breaking the glass. Need a lot of hooks/pry tools and extra sets of hands. Even then you will probably break the glass.
