I've been searching a bit for the right answer to this, but I've found two different answers.
I believe the spring perch spacing for a first gen rear end is 40" center to center of the spring pins. This appears to match my current leaf springs as well. I know the 2nd gen models had 42.5" spacing.
The problem is I've found a couple places that list the correct measurement as 40.5". Before I weld the new perches on, I need someone to confirm that 40" is correct or whether I need to tweak each side 0.25" out.
