So i got a set that i beleive are the 69-72 cause they dont have the really really big bend like the 72 only's have. Any way i cant figure out how or where these suckers mount. the front of my frame is pretty hacked up due to a winch bumper and a body lift.

Any body got pics of these mounted? I did a search and im tired of searching.

i think i got it figured out.

The hooks look right to me. But I think you need to revisit how you mounted that driver's side inner fender :D

I think he needs to revisit where the heck are the body mount bushings... :eek1:

i had the entire front clip off. i am re-doing all the body mounts. The front fenders are only on with 2 bolts as is the core support. the front end is held on with a total of 6 bolts.

this all started cause i replaced my door. i just kept tearing pieces off.

I was wondering where the rubber or poly mounts were under the radiator support. All I see is a 3" puck and nothing else.

ya, i bought a 2" body lift of craigslist last summer. the reason was it had all the body mounts with it and they are the poly mounts. i just have gotten around to putting them in.

i just finshished putting the front end back on. the entire front clip is held on with 10 bolts and 2 of the are the bumper :D.
Obviuosly i'm not serious about driving it in the near future.

Glad to see it's coming together and that you got the door alignment figured out. It was all trial and error on mine, along with some brute force here and there .

Back to the tow hooks...you might want to tack them to the frame, or else weld the nuts to the bolts so that those hooks stay on your rig and don't end up on someone else's.

Yeah - somebody might wander off with those if you're not careful - I know where you work! :D
