"69 blazer frames

i was wondering if chevy had a problem with week frames on the the early blazer. i have 69 and my froward rear spring shackle RHS pulled the rivets out of the frame. there were several cracks surrounding each hole. i managed to fix the problem and use bolts instead of rivets. has any one else experienced problems like this. oh and upon further inspection of the truck i found that the forward front shackle LHS was cracked at the rivets where the body mounts to the upper portion.

the blazer has 4 inch superlift springs and 2 in body lift. i am running 37in tires.

no, not any more than any other year/model, just depend son how driven taken care of, etc, and how many braces and such, the 69s didnt come with some frame braces such as steering box and etc like the 70s ones did
