Hey all...

Long time poser, first time poster...


Was pretty much handed a '69 Blazer about 3wks ago. One of those "Just come get it out of my garage" kind of deals. So it went from his garage to my barn.

Pics when I get enough posts.
 
She looks like a Jimmy. :D

IIRC GMC didn't come out with the Jimmy until 1970. Is it just a front clip and the tub is a 69?

Nice looking rig either way. :waytogo: Any rust?

Edit: Just seen the Chevy tailgate, now I'm more curious...

Just a little more info. The project was obviously started, but not finished. It has a good base though. The PO swapped in a 700R4/NP208 from the 350/205 (both rebuilt and 0 miles), it has what appears to be a 2.5 lift (may be an old sagging 4), and new seats from a 99+ Silverado.

It is a Blazer. Someone, somewhere swapped the front clip. That's OK. I like the dual headlights better :D

As for rust. Very little. Some in the rockers (go figure) and probably the pans, I'll have to get in there to check.
