69 camaro rs question

My dad and i are looking into getting camaro, and we are a little confused on how the headlight covers work on the 69 rs camaros. We have a bet going and I was wondering if the covers slide behind the grille, or if the flip up above the headlights? Thanks for the help.

Optional Rally Sport models had vacuum-operated headlight covers with three see-through slots which permitted limited lighting even with headlight doors closed and lights on. They folded into the grille.

Thanks, I really like the look of the 3 bar rs headlight cover, and i thought it would fold or go into the grille, but wasnt sure. Thanks for the help.

Yep 67,68,69 RS camaros have hidden headlights that fold in rotating 90 degrees towards the center of the grill.
67,68 are electric motors and 69 was vaccum operated i believe.
