6lug hubs fit 8lug?

I have an 8 lug 3/4T 10 bolt with auto hubs on it (out of '84 3/4T burb) and a 6 lug 10 bolt with man. hubs ('86 1/2T burb)
Can I take the manual hubs of the 6 lug and put them on the 8 lug?

I believe its a yes since the only difference is the backing plates , the number of studs , and the rotors

yes as long as they are both internal style hubs. 10 bolts are all internal style hubs unless they have been converted so the answer is YES they will swap.

Keep in mind that the auto hubs may have a 2nd snapring on the axleshaft behind the inner hub body. You must remove this snapring otherwise the manual hub will not seat in far enough.
