Picked up a dream truck after a year of drooling over it. Before I spill the details, I’d figure I’d make a little competition. Guess the engine and I’ll pay for your next year subscription to CK5.

Need the specific variation of the engine. “Small block Chevy” won’t suffice as an answer.
Bonus: Guess the trans/T-case and I’ll make it 2 years

By the way it sits, it's not a normal engine in these trucks. To me it screams big rig but I don't even know what those trucks have to guess.

i was thinking 3-53 or 6v-53 and at545 allison trans with the floor shifter i spot and a divorced rockwell 221 case for that vintage but could be a 205 also .

looks like she rolling on 19.5 tires also .

We have a winner. 6v53N. Trans is the MT41, older version of the 653 and divorced dodge 205

Sweetk30, yep those are 19.5s. Load range G :D

If a mod could assist me with how to go about the reward I’d appreciate it. I’ll get some videos up.

Thanks for playing

Apreciate the gracious offer, but it was fun to look at your new purchase and play guessing game. Couldn’t have done it if you don’t take the time to share.

Can I trade the reward for a full tank of fuel for your new rig? And a couple videos?

Congrats on the purchase, enjoy!

6v-53 wind out a few hundred more rpm over the rest and sound better i think . and with the auto it will RIP on the street for sure .
