Where the hell can I buy one?

I'd rather buy the actual tool than make one with a piece of 7/8 hex stock....

Mc master carr catalog, Msc, graiger, or if thier is a store like bearings and drives or a napa that sells to alot of industrial places have them in stock.

Joe,

Believe it or not, I think I got mine at Orchard Supply. I remember I was surprised they had it at the time... it was about $15 though!!

My local Ace Hardware (industrial/commercial supply one) has them in stock. They are like $20 each. Its a big mofo. It is called Six Points Ace Hardware on Grand Ave.

snapon also has a 7/8 allen socket, but you know you will have to sell your kidney and probably one maybe two lungs to afford there over priced tools.:D

Snap On tools are pricy, but as i have found out, this is one case that is definitely you get what you pay for.

it looks like its way easyer to rebuild kingpins than balljoints or am i wrong?

Yes, kingpins are WAY easier to rebuild than balljoints. Everything is bolt on unlike the ball joints which are pressed on. BUT it is more expensive too.

beater, your right i can say i have to agree. i get snapon tools when it warrents a really good tool, and i can spring for it.
