Are you talking about one that brings the screen out and up?
I saw a Kenwood one, it half blocked the A/C controls. The temperature lever was behind the top edge of the screen. And if you dropped the transmission into gear before the screen was done moving into position, a collision would happen and the screen would go back in.

Yes. Someone on this site had one in their K30 if i remember right. It was in the last year.
I have a flip up screen radio that I mounted on the transmission hump. I have my HF Kenwood TS 50 mounted and then the flip up screen radio mounted on top of that, all on the trans hump. The major PITA was making the bracket out of Simpson Strong Ties. It worked but had to drill all the mounting holes myself which required mounting and un mounting a whole bunch of times. I think one made of wood would have been easier. I will try to take a pic this weekend.
