I am getting a 71 camaro next weekend. Looking to see if anybody knows of a good websites (like this, but NEVER as good!) were I can find parts/info.

nastyz28.com is good for 2nd gen stuff, check out Team Camaro, they have some pretty good forums too. For more general stuff, Team Chevelle has great tech too.

Check the rear frame rails before you buy it. Those years are pretty bad for the rear frame rails rotting out. My 73 was starting too get pretty bad before it was stolen.

I did, thats why I am jumping on this car. The frame/floors are all 100%!! Almost unheard of for this area. The car has been stored inside for the last 5 years at this guy's house, and 10+ years inside from the guy he got it from! all original sheetmetal! NO rust on the exterior!! the only sad part is that sometime in the 70's, somebody put fiberglass rear fender flares on it. The hacked away the out wheel housings and hammered up the inners. It was painted a "70's" heavy, heavy metal flake blue!!

I think I'd have too jump on that too. Rear quators and inner fenders can be replaced. Nice find.

Forgot about Team Camaro. For non-Camaro specific tech, Team Chevelle has lots of great stuff too. Enginecombination.com has solid Drag tech and setups.

Check out Nastyz28.com, im restoring a 73 and I have got a ton of info off that site and the boards. Sounds like a pretty good car you are gettn, early 70s camaros still have a tuff muscle car look and they havent gone thru the roof price wise. Enjoy
