70 K5 \"Heavy Duty Aux Seat\" ?????

I read this on the inside of my glovebox door. What is it? It's not the back seat, cuz that is listed also. Was there a 3rd seat option? Thanks
Nick

You were JK, but there is a brace under the floor behind the back seat and there are 4 big bungs on it. Someone welded some plates over the holes in the floor though.

Re: 70 K5 \"Heavy Duty Aux Seat\" ?????

it stands for the bucket seats that are up front. they are called "utility" bucket seats, and are different than the regular bucket seats. I believe they are wider and shaped differently, but aren't really better (unless you weigh 400 lbs! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif )
with no options, the first gen K5's came with only a driver seat. passenger seats and rear seats were options! so was the hard top!
i recommend you go visit www.67-72chevytrucks.com and poke around. lots of good info there.
