Cracked an ear off my adapter during last teardown. Need a replacement 700/241 adapter. Thanks!

EDIT: Got one!

I just looked. I had one extra but sold it and confirmed I did not have another. FWIW, we enthusiasts intuitively know what you are looking for. However, by description, it really doesn't exist. The tall adapter to round aluminum transfer case was in fact a 84 and older TH700R4 to NP208. A 241 was never coupled to a tall adapter, OEM.

I'll look and ask around.

I have one on the 77, Im looking for the short one right now with the W shaped crossmember to replace my flat crossmember, if I can get ahold of that setup youll get first dibs at mine

I have the W shaped crossmember and should have the short 208/241 to 700R4 adapter

Is this the one you are looking for? I'm not sure if I still have the crossmember still but I am pretty sure I have the adapter cluttering up the garage still.

That's the one. I already have the crossmember. Just need the adapter.

I have a short adaptor and think you'd benefit better with it since they don't have those long legs like the '84 and older ones have. This translates into strength without those long legs. How do you make up for the gap? Either get an '85 and newer crossmember or use square or rectangle tubing to make up the difference. Either way you go, I believe the short adaptor would be stronger with a spacer under it if you use your stock flat crossmember. Hit me up via PM if you're interested.
