700 r4 cable adjustments

I tried a search with no help. I need to know how to adjust this cable properly? I seen a post on here several months ago but cannot find it now. I bought a trans from someone on here in april (I think). I just got the turck put together and it does not want to shift into drive. It will at times bt it is rare. Would this be a problem with the tv cable? How is it adjusted? Any help would be great. Thanks
