700 R4 Question

I have a 700R4 I would like to put in my 86 model in place of the T400. Can I do this by just replacing the converter? Or is there some electrial stuff to go with it? Haven't had the 700R4 out of the parts truck yet so I am not sure.

You will need, torque convertor, adapter, T-case, crossmember, driveshafts, and also the wiring for the TC.

A TH400 is 32 spline and the 700R4 is 27 spline.
