Looking for a 700r4 for the 92 Blazer I'm getting. Thought of going to a stick, but think it's gonna be more of a PITA than to just put in another tranny. So if anyone in Binghamton NY or Scranton PA has a good one let me know. One that is built up would be nice, but not nessecary. Might have some parts to trade.....

I've got a 241/700R that came out of a 90 blazer.
P/O said it was all rebuilt 10K ago.
Also have just a 700R that is said to work but I've never tried it or installed it in anything.
To bad I saw this now, I rolled through there last weekend.
Not real close but I could meet you around Albany if your interested.

Don't need the t-case, just the tranny. I might be able to meet in Albany, havta see how much time I'll have on the weekends. What are you looking to get out of it?
Not willing to seperate the t-case/tranny set up at this point.

I'd recommend a rebuild for it, only way to be sure.

What are you looking to get out of the combo then?? As far as getting it rebuilt I can take mine out or get one from a yard. Really want one just to bolt in and go....

I know you said no stick but I'm dumping my 4sp OD w/208 I'm in driving distance.
Also on craigslist in "wapwallenpen" there are 2 k5 for sale 88/90 going cheap one has a fairly new 700 tranny. I havent seen the add in a while.

Probably more than your looking to spend but that would include delivery.
Ive seen the posts on those Blazers, they've been on there awhile. VT, still in the undecided stage right now. I want an auto so I can just drop it in and go. But I have alot of time to do this, so I still might go with the stick. I can get the 4-speeds all day long, but I want a 5 speed so I can drive it and normal RPMs. My buddy owns a junkyard, has quite a few of them, one IIRC is rebuilt. The only problem is getting them. I had to wait like 4-5 months just to get a stupid tranny/tcase, and only needed the input.....
No hurry here, just let me know when/if you decide you want it so I can schedule the Albany run.

Hey there, I'm down in Huntsville, tx. I've got a 700R4 with a nasty little shift kit in it. It's in my everyday driver right now (84 gmc k10). Rebuilt about 2 years ago with new bands, B&M shift kit. However, I just discovered the tailhousing adapter is broken, so if you got the trans you'd need an adapter for whaterever t-case your gonna run. I'm gona pull the trans when I get home. $700+shipping, obo. let me know. [email protected] thanks Taylor
