700R into 77 blazer...possible?

Ok my transmission is shot in my 77 blazer with a TH350 in to now. My question is, can i swap a 700R 4 speed from my 87 blazer into in with out modification?

you can, but you have to use the tcase and shifter and both driveshafts from the 87, you may need a conversion ujiont for the rear driveshaft at the differential, some are different, some arn't. you also need a TV cable bracket and spot on the carb to hook it to.

Don't forget the cross member and column indicator for OD.

you can keep your old tcase using a spacer or special output shaft.
