700r Shifts really hard on take off.

In my '84 k5 305cid w/700r tranny, truck has about 120k on it. When I put my new carb on long time ago, I had to adjust the TV cable per online specs. Now and ever since it shifts pretty hard from take off , basically the 1-2 shift.

Here is how I adjusted the cable per specs.

Push cable all the way in, put it in the linkage and the go WOT on the linkage and this PULLS (adjusts) the TV cable, I thought this was odd but im jus going by what I read.

Any other suggest, comments, etc etc.

hook cable up.. depress d-button, push sheath all the way torwards the firewall, let go of d-button, move throttle to WOT, release... Your TV cable is now **SET**... It should have clicked out a couple clicks when throttled...

I "think" that is what I did. lol. But Ill redo it your way and see how it goes. Thanks
