If a stock length 700R4 output shaft is used with the spacer and a factory 203 adapter will the shifters still come through the factory hole in the floor or will the floor need to be modified?

I know that Steve said the triple stick will come through the factory hole in the floor if i used the short shaft in the 700R4. I would assume though that unless there are spacers long enough to allow me to move the shifters forward the extra 2" then yes i would need to adjust the hole in the floor. I just hate to cut the factory floor if i don't have to. I also am not ready to go doubler just yet but with knowledge in hand will make my parts buying a little easier on my pocket book if i don't have to buy parts twice.

Pocketbook?? You mean like a purse of some sort....?

:D :haha: :D

you can do a 700r4 to 203/205 doubler by getting a 208 adapter and redrilling and taping the 203.
worked great for my friend and its a ton cheaper and easier

How about i already have the 350/203 adapter and only need a $50.00 spacer and no redrilling required? Drilling and tapping and having to buy an adapter that i'm sure will cost more than $50.00 just doesn't sound easier to me. :dunno:

Would be easy to tranfer punch, drill and tap new holes in the NP203 if you have a transfer punch and tap sets. You can probably pick up both at harbor frieght for under $20. But I would practice drilling and tapping holes in a piece of scrap metal first if you haven't done it before. A drill press for drilling the holes makes it better too.
