I bought a '90 GMC parts truck that has a 700r4/241c in it The trans is supposed to be good. I'll take $200 for the tranny and $200 for the 241C, plus shipping.

mechanical or vss speedo sender?

1990 will be electric speedo and if it's a 1990 "truck" it will be a driver drop t-case used with new body IFS trucks (unless it's a 1 ton old body style rig).

Well, I got it home and got the engine out to find a broken flywheel. There is writing on top of the bellhousing that says "late 700r4 4x4" that was written in paint and it has a GM reman sticker on it. So it was rebuilt at one time. The fluid is clean and bright red. They just told me that it wouldn't start and they didn't know why. Unfortunately, they took the tbi off and let it sit uncovered in the elements.

I pulled the pan, everything looked good, no metal or pieces of anything else in the pan. I replaced the filter and gasket. Surely someone needs this.

I want the 700. Do you have any pics of it? Is there a AAA Cooper, Southeastern or Wilson Trucking terminal near you that you could drop it off at (wrapped on a pallet) or do you have a business address it could be picked up from (residential makes the cost go up a good bit)?
Also, do you accept paypal payments, and would you take $175?

Sorry, I got a deposit on it today. I'm holding it until this weekend. If it isn't gone by Monday then it's yours.
