What are my options for mating a np205 to 700r4? Do I need the AA short shaft or is there a spacer that can be used instead?

you can get a spacer but i would get the shaft because you run less of a risk of breaking the spacer because the 205 is a pretty heavy case

this was just talked about in other thread . and you want to watch the cv head on the drive shaft to tranny pan clearence. might be better off with spacer and a good brace to the frame on the side of the 205.

any tranny shop will have them . or post a thread in the wanted section on hear. you will need to put the spacer on and see if you have the correct length shaft to start. and if to long you will most likly cut some off and make sure you have full spline ingagement and dont bottom out on the end of the splines .

go page 8 in here and look for the thread title (700r4/np205 front driveshaft clearence issues) its all in there about the problems.
